Our last few hours at the resort...
Yal-Ku Lagoon

The little town of Akumal is a 10-minute walk on the beach north of Akumal Beach Resort.

There you can find a money exchange (a little better than resort), Internet access, groceries, etc.

Also, a 30-minute walk up the road from Akumal you will also find Yal-Ku Lagoon.
Walk as far as you can go to Casa Laguna to the upper-most part of the lagoon.
This lagoon has some great snorkeling!  The highest density of fish are at the start.
Don't forget your snorkel and mask.

On the (hot) walk back, stop in at La Buena Vida Restaurant & Bar for a snack and a drink.
